Richard Cowie, RAG Chairman, explaining the steps
needed to refill Llanishen reservoir to the Prime Minister.

Councillor Craig Williams and RAG Chairman, Dr. Richard Cowie, visited Downing Street on 23rd April to meet the Prime Minister and to discuss the local campaign to get Llanishen reservoir refilled.  After the meeting David Cameron issued the following statement:

"I was delighted to meet Craig and Richard Cowie, Chairman of the Reservoir Action Group, at 10 Downing Street to hear about the campaign to refill and reopen Llanishen and Lisvane reservoirs in Cardiff North.  We owe this community campaign a huge debt of gratitude for their work to date, safeguarding these important reservoirs for future generations.  I will continue to work with Jonathan, Cardiff North's current MP, and his successor Craig to ensure the community's voice is heard loud and clear on this important issue."
