Llanishen and Lisvane Reservoir Embankments Argloddiau Cronfeydd Dwr Llanisien a Llys-faen and Lisvane Reservoir are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and are of national importance for nature conservation. The features of special interest are grassland fungi, including 25 species of wax-cap found on the embankments of both reservoirs, and over-wintering birds at Lisvane Reservoir.
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) and the site’s new landowner Celsa are working together to manage both these SSSIs...........................
