Petition Closed and submitted ! More details soon!....Phew!


Llanishen reservoir was 'temporarily' drained by its owners, Western Power Distribution (WPD), in 2010 to allow the inspection of some submerged pipework.  It was never refilled and still remains empty.  In April 2013, the Welsh Government Ministers turned down WPD's planning application for 324 houses in the bowl of the reservoir, and there is now no reason why the reservoir should not be refilled.  A number of local residents have set up a petition asking Cardiff Council to take all steps to see that the reservoir is refilled.  It can be accessed here:
