Several weeks ago you may recall that Phil Bale, one of our members, succeeded in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and raised a Reservoir Action Group poster at the summit (for a brief few moments at least!). Despite his last minute decision to do the challenge, Phil has now raised hundreds of pounds in sponsorship for our campaign! In fact the final figure has boosted RAG’s Fighting Fund by at least £460! It was a great personal achievement that once again shows the strength of feeling against Western Power Distribution’s plans for the reservoir site.
