RAGamuffins

Some of our many passionate members have created a great monthly newsletter to help our children get even more involved in saving their local green park and heritage! You can find a copy of the first edition of the RAGamuffins newsletter on a special link on the right of the blog page of our web. Spike, the hedgehog is urging kids to become Reservoir Rescue Heroes and enter the competitions, with prizes given by local businesses each month and learn amazing facts about our wonderful wildlife in our local environment. The RAGamuffins first edition also provides advice about what the Reservoir Rescue Heroes can do to save their reservoir, so that one day they may be able to learn to sail, fish or indeed just sit and chill out in this tranquil place.

We will also have copies of the RAGamuffin newsletter at all our fundraising events so if you come along with your children, or not, make sure you pick up a copy. The prizes for winning the competitions are a spectacular scorpion and massive beetle! You'll be glad to know that they are encased in acrylic, not live!

Please let your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighbours' kids know to look out for RAGamuffins activities over the coming months. We will also let you know, via the blog, when the next edition has been published.
