Last year's Save Our Cardiff Reservoirs Walk was phenomenally successful both in raising our 'rock solid' campaign profile but also vital funds, both through the sign-up fee and through sponsorship.
Because of this success we are holding the walk again to continue to press for what we, the custodians of Cardiff, want not just for our own enjoyment but also for future generations to benefit from the magnificent Nant Fawr Green Corridor.
The Save Our Cardiff Reservoirs fundraising walk takes place on Saturday 7th July, and is now just 3 weeks away so, if you haven't got it in your diary, be part of history and sign up now and get those boots ready to take on Western Power Distribution.
There are 5 walk options, 3, 6, 12, 17 or 21 miles and full details are on the event website www.socrw.co.uk. If you are raring to get going you can enter on-line via the event website or there’s an entry form you can down load on the event website. You can also come along on the day and complete the entry form.
And when you return after the walk there will be plenty of tea, coffee, squash, cakes and biscuits, to boost your flagging energy but most importantly you will receive a certificate to prove those 'boots walked all over WPD'.
