Welsh Water has started work improving the environment around the reservoirs. One of the things that they are planning to do is to construct a short section of dry stone wall which would act as a refuge for hibernating amphibians and reptiles. This weekend there is an opportunity for a small number of volunteers to start work on this and to be trained on how to construct a dry stone wall. It would be all day on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December, and will involve working outdoors, although there will be shelter available.
